Seeking Indigo: More Than Meets the Eye

My associate Erin and I went to see what Seeking Indigo on King St. was all about.  We were curious as to why they categorized the store as an “urban oasis.”  The storefront is aesthetically pleasing with great gifts from far-away lands (most with an Indian vibe).  There were great corduroy jackets for less than $90, handwoven scarves, handmade children’s clothes and even a few vintage-colored scooters for sale.  We saw an open door leading to a dark room with a Buddha and that definitely piqued our curiosity.  It seems that it is the gateway to their health and wellness center (that explains the grab-n-go organic vegan food offered in the corner of the store).  We were handed a brochure of all the services they offer including, but not limited to, hypnotherapy, anti-aging medicine and nutritional counseling, live blood cell analysis and ionic footbath.  It seems it really is an urban oasis located at 445 King St. in downtown Charleston.

Amber:

It has been awhile since you have written about Seeking Indigo, so we wanted to invite you to attend the Local Designer Showcase, this Thursday from 6-9pm. We think you would enjoy the variety of local vendors all under one roof for one night. Please email me if you have any questions. Thank you!
